Acorn's Mission Statement
Based on the proclamation of the Gospel worldwide, being rooted and grounded on the Great Commission of our Lord jesus Christ as Matthew 28:16-20, Mark 16:14-20 clearly states.
Acorn's Vision and Purpose
To help win the lost and train workers to impact the world, especially in Asia by:
- Effectively preaching the Gospel
- Teaching the Word
- Encouraging church planting
- Relief of suffering to the underprivileged
To impact Asia through:
- Presenting the Gospel in the cities and villages and help pioneer strong local churches.
- Help teach, train and equip Christian leaders and ministers.
- Send workers into the harvest fields by organising and leading mission trips.
- Facilitate and help support others to fulfil their God given vision to take the Gospel to Asia.
- Helping to raise finances to build and support a street children's home in Bangalore, India, for seventy children.
- Providing regular monthly support for the girls hostel in Chiang Mai, Thailand, to prevent girls from entering prostitution.
The seeds of an Oak tree. Acorn International Ministries takes every opportunity to sow, plant & water seeds, while God makes them grow into "oaks of righteousness a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendour".
